What Happens After You Report a Review?

Reporting a review sets off a clear moderation process. Here’s what happens behind the scenes:

    Step 1: Triage

Once your report is submitted, the SON moderation team reviews the details and any notes you provided.

    Step 2: Policy Check

Moderators compare the review against the 📜 SON Review Policy to see if it violates community standards.

    Step 3: Decision

    • If no violation is found, the review remains published.

    • If a violation is found, the review may be removed, edited, or restricted.

    Step 4: Enforcement

Depending on severity, actions may include:

    • A warning issued to the reviewer.

    • Temporary suspension of the account.

    • Permanent removal from SON for severe breaches.

    Step 5: Notification

You will be notified once the investigation is complete, whether or not action was taken.
