Community Etiquette for Reviews

Profile Reviews are designed to help SON members build trust, share experiences, and connect authentically. To keep this feature respectful and fair, please follow these community etiquette guidelines.

    Writing Reviews with Respect

    • Always include both: A star rating and a written review are required for every review.

    • Be factual, not personal: Focus on behaviors and interactions, not insults or attacks.

    • Keep it constructive: Write reviews that help others understand your experience.

    • Use kind language: Even in criticism, remain polite and avoid cruelty.

    • Respect differences: Kink, poly, and vanilla members may approach connections differently.

    Responding to Reviews

    • Pause before replying: Don’t respond in anger.

    • Acknowledge feedback: Thank the reviewer if their points are fair.

    • Add context calmly: Share your perspective without defensiveness.

    • Know when to walk away: Sometimes silence shows maturity.

    What to Avoid

    • Using reviews as retaliation or revenge.

    • Sharing private conversations or intimate details.

    • Writing reviews about disputes outside of SON.

    • Exaggerating, fabricating, or spreading rumors.

💡 Remember: Reviews reflect personal experiences. They’re not absolute facts, and your connection with someone may be different from another member’s.

By following these etiquette guidelines, you help ensure that Profile Reviews remain a trusted, safe, and constructive part of the SON community.
