    Google Chrome — Install SON as a PWA

    Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)

    Option A Address Bar (when “Install” icon appears)

    1. Visit SubmitOrNot.com.
    2. Click the Install icon (monitor + down arrow) in the address bar.
    3. Click Install → SON opens in its own window.

     

    Option B Three Dots Menu (⋮)

    1. Visit SubmitOrNot.com.
    2. Click ⋮ (top-right) → Save and share → Install page as app.
      Older Chrome: ⋮ → More tools → Create shortcut… → check Open as window → Create.
    3. SON installs and can be pinned to your taskbar/dock.

     

    Android (Phone & Tablet)

    Option A Install Prompt (if shown)

    1. Open SubmitOrNot.com in Chrome.
    2. Tap Install app → confirm Install.

     

    Option B Three Dots Menu (⋮)

    1. Open SubmitOrNot.com in Chrome.
    2. Tap ⋮ → Install app or Add to Home screen.
    3. Confirm Install. SON appears on your Home Screen and in your app drawer.

    Tip: If you don’t see “Install app,” try ⋮ → Add to Home screen or refresh.

     

    iPhone/iPad note: Chrome on iOS cannot install PWAs due to Apple restrictions — use Safari steps below.

     

    Mozilla Firefox (Desktop & Android)

    1. Visit SubmitOrNot.com.
    2. Open Menu (☰) → Install (or Add to Home screen on Android).
    3. Confirm installation. SON launches as a standalone app.

     

    Microsoft Edge (Desktop & Mobile)

    1. Visit SubmitOrNot.com.
    2. Desktop: click ⋯ → Apps → Install this site as an app.
      Mobile: tap ⋯ → Add to Phone.
    3. Confirm installation. SON runs in its own window and can be pinned.

     

    Apple Safari (macOS & iOS/iPadOS)

    Mac

    1. Visit SubmitOrNot.com.
    2. Top menu: File → Add to Dock.
    3. SON is now accessible from your Dock.

     

    iPhone/iPad

    1. Open SubmitOrNot.com in Safari.
    2. Tap the Share (□↑) icon → Add to Home Screen.
    3. Tap Add. SON appears as an app on your Home Screen.
